Tracing Vision is a visual exploration of the intricate dynamics of eye tracking, drawing processes, and feedback loops, examining how the human eye engages with and interprets visual stimuli. This series of visualizations investigates the interplay between motion, perception, and cognitive focus, employing drawing techniques and real-time digital feedback to refine our understanding of how viewers navigate imagery.
Each piece was developed through individualized study and data collection, adhering to industry-standard formatting while embracing experimental methodologies. Storytelling is used as a core framework to translate raw observational data into compelling visual narratives. These works draw inspiration from eye tracking patterns, capturing the fluid and often subconscious ways the human gaze interacts with compositions.
This series manifested into various posters and magazine pages, posing critical questions about how humans respond to visual hierarchies and colors. Tracing Vision intentionally invites viewers to consider the symbiotic relationship between perception and creation.
Each project was developed through a sustained feedback loop, integrating insights from eye-tracking data and color sensitivity studies. These findings were continually refined and implemented into the designs through a multi-stage drafting process. Drafting proposals often included multiple color alternatives, carefully curated and tested to enhance visual engagement and responsiveness, as demonstrated in the samples below.
