Lewinski is an original typeface designed to explore how gender stereotypes can permeate our perception of typography. Featuring sharply angled strokes juxtaposed with bold, abstract forms, Lewinski strikes a balance between being both assertive and nuanced—mirroring the complex dynamics of gender in visual design.






Drawing inspiration from Herbert Bayer’s typographic innovations, Lewinski reimagines the alphabet as a system of angled components, challenging traditional conventions and inviting deeper reflection on the visual language of identity. The typeface was applied in two distinct brand concepts: KEEN, a sleek, sugar-free electrolyte soda, and 408 Tequila, a rustic nod to Bay Area heritage—showcasing Lewinski’s adaptability across contrasting aesthetics.
